The News Is In: I HAVE AN APARTMENT!

Ok, so after all of these excruciating months of living with my sister in Maryland, I have finally gotten an apartment in Washington, DC!!! I am sooo ready to rejoin the community and regain my social life (the social castration of living with my sister and her family was too much to handle!) and reconnect with all of my friends. And while my salary at my job is not where I would like it to be, and while the apartment is DEFINITELY not as big as I would like it to be (more on that later), it is mine, all mine. And much like my fictional sister Dorothy Gale once famously said,
"There's no place like home, there's no place like home, there's no place like home."

Wish me luck on this new frontier, and my adventures will definitely be written about. You'll be hearing from me, real soon.
