Songs that I Am Ashamed to Love: Khia - Be Your Lady

Ok, so I an usually not a fan of those really rough-sounding hip hop songs. I usually go for the more "pop-ish" side of hip hop, or I go for the neo-soul meets rap like Common and The Roots. So, imagine my surprise when I found myself really liking a song by rap artist Khia (known better for her song, "My neck, my back" ) called Be Your Lady. It's basically about her saying that she wants to be this man's girl, his number one, the one who cooks for him, takes care of him, etc., essentially the hip hop response to the Destiny's Child song Cater To You. Now there are a few reasons why I feel a little guilty for liking this song.
#1. The lyrics are not really in line with my anti-housewife values. I don't wanna just be some man's lapdog with these traditional male/female roles (trust me, it's just as possible in gay relationships as in straight ones). But maybe there is a part of me that could be in to the role playing aspect of it.........Nevermind.
#2. The lyrics are kinda grody (Grody = the cutesy way of saying gross). I mean, I am just as freaky as the next person (sometimes freakier), but do I really wanna hear lyrics like "I'll cook you breakfast butt naked, while your eating me out"? Whatever happened to leaving some things to the imagination? However, I have to say that in Khia's first hit My Neck, My Back, the next line was "Lick my pussy and my crack". I guess that subtlety is just not Khia's style.

But should I feel bad for liking this song so much? I mean, the beat is catchy, and everyone deserves a little pampering now and then. And I mean, it could be worse, my favorite song on Khia's new CD could be the one where she sings "I put that pussy on his ass, and put his ass to sleep"......... Yeah, I'll work up to that one I think.
